November 17th is Shogi Day in Japan.
I set an old wooden shogi board on the tatami and lined up the pieces with little Azuki as my opponent.
Move by move, in the gentle silence, I quietly FEEL JAPAN.
About Shogi (Japanese chess)
Shogi is Japan’s “thinking game,” where every single move carries its own little story.
