雪夜に響く除夜の鐘。心静かに、新しい年へ。 / Joya no Kane: Ringing in the New Year
大晦日の夜。 あたりは静寂に包まれ、冷たく澄んだ空気が肌を刺します。
今夜のFEEL JAPANは「除夜の鐘」です。
日本の大晦日には、お寺の大きな鐘を108回突く習わしがあります。 「ゴォーン……」 腹の底に響くような低く長い音色は、私たちの心にある108つの煩悩（苦しみや迷いのもと）を取り払い、清らかな心で新年を迎えるためのものです。
雪明かりの中、紫乃と小豆も静かに鐘の音に耳を傾けています。 過ぎ去る年に感謝し、来る年が素晴らしいものになるように願いを込めて。

: Joya no Kane: The Sound of New Year’s Eve
On New Year’s Eve, snow falls silently, wrapping the world in a quiet, crisp chill.
Today’s FEEL JAPAN illustration features “Joya no Kane” (The New Year’s Eve Bell).
In Japan, it is traditional to ring the great temple bells 108 times as the old year fades into the new. The deep, resonant sound—”Goon…”—echoes through the night. It is believed that this ritual cleanses us of the 108 worldly desires (bonno) that cause suffering, allowing us to welcome the New Year with a pure heart and fresh spirit.
Under the moonlight and snow, Shino and Azuki stand quietly, listening to the solemn toll of the bell. They reflect on the past year with gratitude and look forward to the new one with hope.
