街がクリスマスムード一色になる12月23日。 実はこの日、東京にとって、そして日本にとって、とても大切な記念日であることをご存知でしょうか？
今日は「東京タワー完成の日」です。
今から60年以上前の1958年（昭和33年）12月23日、高さ333メートルを誇るこの赤い鉄塔は完成しました。
今回のイラストのテーマは、そんな記念すべき日の冬の情景です。
しんしんと雪が降り積もる寒い夜。 紫乃は温かいショールを羽織り、愛犬のアズキも冬用のコートを着て、その堂々たる姿を見上げています。
凍えるような冬の空の下、東京タワーが放つこの温かみのあるオレンジ色のライトアップ（ランドマークライト）を見ると、不思議と心が安らぎませんか？
完成当時、戦後の焼け野原から立ち上がり、空に向かってぐんぐんと伸びていくタワーの姿は、日本の復興と未来への希望そのものでした。
時代は移り変わり、新しいランドマークができた今でも、東京タワーが持つノスタルジックな温かさと存在感は唯一無二です。それは、昭和、平成、令和と、変わらずこの街と人々を見守り続けてきた証なのかもしれません。
一年で最も街がきらめくこの季節。 皆さんもぜひ、温かい飲み物を片手に、東京の永遠のシンボルを見上げてみてください。
きっと、時代を超えて受け継がれる「希望の光」を感じることができるはずです。
December 23rd, right amidst the Christmas festivities, is actually a very significant anniversary for Tokyo and Japan.
Today is “Tokyo Tower Completion Day.”
On this day in 1958, this iconic red and white tower, standing 333 meters tall, was finally completed.

On a cold night with snow falling silently, Purple Shino, wrapped in a warm shawl over her kimono, and her Shiba Inu Azuki, snug in his winter coat, gaze up at the magnificent structure.
Under the freezing winter sky, there is something incredibly comforting about the warm orange glow of the Tokyo Tower’s illumination.
When it was built, the sight of the tower rising high above the post-war landscape was a powerful symbol of Japan’s recovery and hope for the future.
Times have changed, and new landmarks have appeared, but the nostalgic warmth and presence of Tokyo Tower remain unique. It is a testament to how it has watched over the city and its people through changing eras.
