1月6日。今日は京都の街中にある、ひときわ異彩を放つパワースポットへ。 住宅街の中に突如現れる、まばゆい黄金の鳥居。 **「御金神社（みかねじんじゃ）」**です。
ここは、金属と鉱物の神様をお祀りする神社。 単にお金そのものというよりは、お金というエネルギーを生み出す「金属」や、資産運用の守り神として、昼夜問わず多くの参拝客で賑わっています。
今日の絵日記は、その圧倒的な「ゴールド」の輝きを描きました。
【紫と金。最強のコントラスト】 夜の空気に、ライトアップされた黄金の鳥居がくっきりと浮かび上がります。 この金色は、派手というよりも、迷いを断ち切るような強さを感じさせますね。
そんな強い色に負けないよう、私と愛犬の小豆（あずき）も、今日は一番格式高い「紫」の着物で正装しました。 「紫（Purple）」と「金（Gold）」。 補色に近いこの組み合わせは、お互いを引き立て合う、最も高貴で力強い配色です。
【願うのは、棚ぼたではなく「覚悟」】 神社の前で手を合わせるとき、私は「お金が降ってきますように」とは願いません。
「今年も新しい作品（価値）をたくさん生み出します。そのための知恵とパワーをください」
そう誓いを立てる場所だと思っています。 お金は、誰かに喜んでもらった対価として「後からついてくる」もの。 この黄金の鳥居は、そんな私の「覚悟」を鏡のように明るく照らしてくれている気がしました。
2026年、皆さんの挑戦も、この鳥居のようにキラキラと輝くものになりますように。
[Feel Japan Illustrated Diary] Vowing Determination at the Golden Torii. ~Mikane Shrine, Kyoto~
Hello, I’m Shino.
January 6th. Today, I visited a power spot that stands out uniquely in the streets of Kyoto. Suddenly appearing in a quiet residential area is a dazzling Torii gate of pure gold. This is “Mikane Jinja” (Mikane Shrine).
This shrine is dedicated to the god of metals and minerals. Rather than just “cash,” it is the guardian of the “metal” that creates wealth and the flow of assets. It is bustling with visitors day and night.
Today’s sketch captures that overwhelming golden radiance.
[Purple and Gold. The Ultimate Contrast] The illuminated golden Torii floats clearly in the night air. This gold doesn’t feel gaudy; instead, it feels strong, as if it cuts through hesitation.
To match such a powerful color, my dog Azuki and I dressed up in our most formal “Purple” kimonos today. “Purple” and “Gold.” This combination creates a noble and powerful contrast, with each color enhancing the other.
[Praying for Determination, Not Luck] When I put my hands together in front of the shrine, I don’t pray, “Please let money fall from the sky.”
Instead, I vow: “I will create many new works (value) this year. Please give me the wisdom and power to do so.”
I believe money is something that “follows” as a reward for bringing joy to others. This golden Torii feels like a bright mirror, illuminating my determination to create value.
I hope your challenges in 2026 will also shine brilliantly, just like this Torii gate.
[Feel Japan – Today’s Perspective] Color is energy that acts directly on the mind. Looking at this “Gold” when you’re feeling down gives you an instant surge of vitality, no logic needed. Seeing the burning golden color amidst the silence of a Kyoto winter night, I felt my energy recharged purely through my vision.
